For fast food, its good because its different. We have 3 Carl's Jr here in bc and I only eat there a couple times a year because they're in locations that are quite far from me. The closest one to me is about 45 minutes away In downtown vancouver if there isn't any traffic.

Last time I tried it was in Arizona years ago. It was like a slightly higher end Burger King. More recently I had Hardees on a trip south and was unimpressed. I will wait and see.

This was their ad campaign at the time:

If it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't deserve to be in your face.

The marketing worked, it's stuck with me after almost 20 years.

Yes but now it's FINALLY coming to Toronto. I've never been to this place myself, is it any good? How does it compare to other burger places?
I wish White Castle and Jack in the Box would open up here! That would be great!
White Castle = bubble guts. No thanks. It also taste like crap. They need a Checkers, In N Out and Chick Fil A up here.

Interesting... I've always seen ads for these American chains on TV and such my whole life, but due to some youthful indiscretions there's no chance of me getting across the border to try them personally.. I'll give it a shot if I ever pass one just for the novelty if nothing else

Wait. What?
Seriously!??!
BRB Google.

EDIT: Hmm. Apparently we do.
Or at least 2 since I can't find the 3rd one.
I'm only counting one though since Abbotsford is kind of far.

There's alot in California. I went in, just wanted something light since I was driving down Highway 1 (around 2008). Just seeing the menu almost gave me a heart attack. Think of something like All meat pizza, wrapped around jumbo cheese beef burrito type dishes with sauce all over it, I got their $1 something hamburger, which was the size of a quarter pounder. I liked it from what I remember. Simple, but good. Of course the Canadian menu will pale in comparison and will likely cost alot more.

Ya they are popular for their very male-audience tv ads but if you you tube the banned super bowl ad for the big breakfast sandwich, you will see why it's banned, I've not seen a woman do things to that size of sausage on normal tv!

Trust me, you tube it!
