Is there any point when the step challenges will stop? Mine went from 2500, 2900, 3200. if you stop accomplishing the step challenge, will that stop the daily goal from increasing?

Mine just kept increasing every week that I hit the goal, all the way from 4600 to 7800
In January we had 10 days in Disney with 20,000 ish steps per day and my daily goal jumped from 7800 to 14,900. It's slowly working it's way back down but they only seem to be dropping at 200-300 steps per week.

at least that means it does actually drop down, though it will take time. Good to know.
Also, may be smart to sit out some challenges when having a week that is not normal!

Is there a way to put the app on pause I wonder?

I wish it wasn't just step goal. I would like it to be active minutes instead (or in combination with step goal). Some days, I will do 1.5 hours of biking and not meet my step goal = no points. But isn't the point of the app to get us more active/healthy?
Have you actually tracked how many "steps" you register for cycling? I skiied for two weeks recently and barely walked (stayed in ski-in, ski-out condo). I was registering over 20,000 "steps" and even several dozen "flights of stairs".

A cautionary tale. When you sign up for step counting the app tracks your daily step count for a week or so. Then it averages those counts and uses that to set your "daily goal." You don't get points unless you meet that daily goal. In my case I signed up just before a multi-day hiking trip over the Easter weekend where I walked for several hours daily. So now my daily goal is several times higher than I reach normally. As a result I won't be getting any points for steps until my next hiking trip. I'm hoping their algorithm is smart enough to gradually drop my goal to what's actually normal for me.

In any case when you do reach your goal the reward is only a couple of points per day. You're not going to fly for on Carrot's dime any time soon at that rate.
I did the same mistake with timing, only I signed up at the beginning of a 2wk ski vacation in the alps. I was skiing aggressively for 6-8hrs per day and registering over 20,000 "steps". On a regular day, I only walk about 3000-4000 steps but my carrot goal is way more than that now.

My timing sucks too, mine started at 5,500 steps a day for a 4 scene points reward. Wished it started at at least 2500 steps that way it's not too daunting to reach my goals.

Mine is @ 6200 a day. I just shake my phone a lot each day.

If your using Fitbit maybe attach it to your leg or shoe. You'll get steps that way.

you actually have to participate in the Ride for Heart and do some fundraising like $100:)
Just doing the survey gets the 20 points - the other 300 come from participating

How does it know you registered / participated in ride for heart?

I registered for ride for heart using the code (thanks), but I don't see any offers from the app itself.

No, you don't need to participate just register. I already got 320 points. I'll upload a pic of the points soon. Mobile RFD app doesn't let me upload pics for some reason.
