Cars that have remained in style over the years?
Not exotics, but everyday layman's vehicles we see on the road, say 5yrs or older IN STOCK FORM. Must be realistic and attainable, with a price range up to lets say $50,000 just for sakes. Some designs seems to have that dated look after awhile, while others tend to remain longer and still turns head when you see them on the road. Maybe it's because we don't see them as much or maybe they really do have good styling in general.
Post pics if you can as well._______________

I will vote for the Acura NSX which hasn't had a major overhaul since 1990.
And I will say the NSX because it's an exotic. It's something you don't see every day, let alone every month. I could go on for like a year before I see an NSX around the GTA. You can't say the same thing for the Corvette, or Vipers.

I just noticed you said no exotics. too bad muwhahah

Honda Prelude w/ OEM Lipkit
Classic Japanese GT design with it's long hood and small trunk. IMO, way better than the boring bubble bloated designs of today.

loho33, you and I must be long lost brothers 'cause I think the same thing as you do. Today's vehicle I find are all bubbly and bloated in general. The Prelude having an actual trunk is unique to me, as well as the long hood as you've stated. Only wished it came in RWD form. The lines are very direct, visible, and clean. My only knock against it is the spoiler actually, it looks cleaner without it IMO.
The NSX is a head turner indeed. For some reason I'm also attracted to the Nissan 300zx as well._______________

Those VWs are not stock so they dont count, and the NSX was my second choice BUT it costs more than 50K...Read the OP then choose a car.
The prelude i agree with everything you said...damn only if it was RWD

Nissan Silvia still looks sleek and beautiful going on 7 years after retirement.

I've always loved the MR2 as well._______________

Can't find any images of the Toyota Cressida but I still think the last generation was one of the more beautiful Japanese sedans from the early 90s.

When I worked for GO Transit in the early Nineties in Toronto, I would glance out the window nearly everyday to look at a 1991 (or so) yellow Toyota MR2, just dreaming of owning one because it was so good looking.
Nothing since then touches this car in terms of styling IMHO.Last edited by gordholio; Jan 6th, 2007 at 09:35 PM.

Early 90s Toyota sportscar designs were some of the best (if not the best) of that era. They haven't come up with anything close ever since.

since you asked about non-exotics cars up to ~ 50k and older then 5yrs.....i like these ones:
1. 2000 Honda S2000

2. 1992-1995 Honda Civic SI hatchback

3. 1993-2002 Toyota Supra

4. 1998-2002 BMW M coupe (this is the only BMW I ever liked)
