Casino Shuttle Bus to Fallsview

Just came back from fallsview/niagara casino, and just wanna let every1 know some of the changes made to the casino shuttle.

It is now $12.70 (aftex tax) for the round trip, but they give you a $10 voucher IF you have a players card, so works out to be $2.70 for the round trip bus, which is pretty hot, cause its $2.75 to take the TTC.

notes.

1. Casino shuttle no longer goes to casino niagara, it only goes to fallsview. if you want to go to niagara they have free shuttles that go to and from casinos
2. ticket states that you must be at the casino for at least 5 hours. but this is 5 hours from time of purchase, since it takes 1.5-1.75 hours to get there, u need to stay for 3 hours, which is nothing for me.
3. you need a playters advantage card. if you don't have one, get one from a friend and get one while u are there (free too)

edit:
lol sry. the shuttle is from bay and dundas downtown, and the bus terminal. just get in line and just flash the players card, and they print u out everything.

Thanks for the info.

One question; can the return be used on the next day?

i.e can you travel there on a Friday and use the return portion on Saturday?

Friends of mine used to take the shuttle to the casino home from university because it was cheaper paying for a bus ticket, so you can proabably stay atleast a week without any trouble, but I would check their website to make sure :)

I would stay far far away from anything that has the word casino on it. You can come from knowing nothing to becoming addicted to loosing that $xx,xxx in a few weeks.

HMMMM this gets me thinking.. I'm flying out of Buffalo for my honeymoon beginning of February. Still trying arrange how to get there though - we return to Toronto, so I only need a one-way trip.

Does anybody know if it would be feasible to take this bus and schooch on the return? Our hotel is near the Airport in Buffalo - can you even take a taxi across the border from Niagara?

Thoughts?

Thx

you sure can take a taxi across the border, but it will likey cost you more than the actual cost of 2 bus tickets.
once you get to Niagara Falls, ONT. figure out the cheapest way to get across the border, (you could walk from the casino, but i suspect you won't want to do that with luggage, unless it's just one piece) then take public transit to the airport, as it is about 20-30 mins away from the actual border crossing (depening on where you cross)

They don't allow luggages to be on the bus.... :)
Ticket has an expiration, I forgot, but guessing 24 hours...
