Casting Call: Contestors Wanted!

Handel Productions, an award-winning film company based in Montreal, is currently completing research for an hour-long documentary about contestors (aka Sweepers) that will air on CBC. We are looking for big winners, unlucky souls, colorful characters, and unique stories. We are mainly shooting in Toronto and the surrounding regions and would like to hear from dedicated contestors in this area who are interested in participating in the film. Please email Craig Silverman at [email]craig@craigsilverman.ca[/email] and tell him a bit about yourself: how long you've been entering contests, how much you've won, what you've won, why you do it. Be sure to share any colourful, humourous or interesting details or anecdotes, and feel free to include some pictures of you and your prizes. We'd love to hear from as many people as possible.

I was going to email them too as I am way over that amount, but I am not in the area they are interested in. >:( Toronto and surrounding regions. I am not even close...... But, for a good story, they might not care?!!

Who knows, for a good story they just might make a few phone calls or something. For a really good unique story they might make the effort to come out our way?! Always worth a shot!


*Not hard to get the wins way up there when the one trip alone last year was valued at $75,000 :) Then add on the Playstation systems (2 & 3), cash, misc. electronics, event/movie tickets etc... they add up fast.
