Cell saving plans

How do these cheap plans work. I plan to get one. Cellsaving.ca if you have used this before how does it work? Is it monthly as the carrier sends the plan bill to your house/online or how does this work?

I think you mean cellsavings.ca

Plans by John. He's the guy who's been interviewed on his service. He also works for one of the big three. You can do all this yourself.

It's a monthly plan.
You get your bills at home, or to your email / phone (ebill).
They put you on a plan intended for customers in Quebec or Manitoba (even though you may not live in Quebec or Manitoba).

The process:
1. You activate a new account (random # from the province of your choice)
2. You go online to Koodo's self serve system, and change the address on the account & the cell # to a Quebec #.
3. In the new billing cycle, you go in and change the plan to a promotional Quebec plan.
4. Profit.

You can do this yourself without paying a cent.

I think what makes this a loophole is those who've activated on ON/AB/BC numbers can switch to QC numbers in self-serve with Koodo without changing the billing address.
