On the main page the first "deal" is a sponsored posting for "The new INSPIRON notebook recommended with Windows Vista".

The other day, there were 2 comments left by people who thought the "deal" was not very good. The posts simply gave the users opinions on the deal.

today, I see that those comments have been deleted.

Is this the standard policy of RFD? Do all posts that may not agree or be flattering of a sponsor get deleted on RFD?


...Will this forum post also be deleted?

It's an ad. The comments were supposed to be off, but were left on by mistake. So it they were turned off and the comments disappeared as a result.
