Third Summer for the BBQ. It is left outside (covered) all winter. Never had a problem with it.

centro
i recommend that u buy it. yap! Good deal especially this month. The cast iron grill is must for bbq not only cook fast also last long. they have that feature that some don't have. Don't worry about the parts just make sure clean your bbq everytime you store it for winter. You will enjoy it for a long time. Maintaining it is the key!

Centro "Veranda" pedestal electric BBQ
Have one of these FOR Sale (chrome dome top, was $150).
Used it 5-10 times this past winter on an apt balcony.
Just moved out.
Reply with an offer if interested.

centro
I bought the centro that was on sale at Cdn tire. They put it together for , used it twice now it won't work. Either they messed up or the connection hose is defective. If there is a problem Cdn tire will not help as they are not allowed you'll have to deal with Centro. A $600 bbq and now I have to trouble shoot on the phone with Centro. Not happy.

I have a relative with an "upper model" Centro and it's giving him some headaches.
His biggest complaints are the cast iron grill being extremely hard to scrape/clean because of their weaved design and un-even heat throughout the grill (some spots are crazy hot compared to others). Uneven heat is a big problem when you are grilling and pretty much sets the BBQs apart.
I'd recommend a Broil King if you are looking for a decent grill. I don't own a Broil King therefore I'm not trying to sell them. However, everyone that I know who owns one loves it and they aren't that pricey. Plus, they are made in Canada. If you have a bit more in your budget for a new BBQ, go for a Napolean BBQ.

Centro BBq
Dont buy it, poor quality, grills dont last, flame tamers rot out , wont stay lit Centro does there own support ,,,,,no returns to store
Buy the Napolean on sale at CTC or Thermos, much better quality and support

I bought a Centro 5800 series BBQ and it has been the best BBQ I have owned. It is sturdy, cooks really well, and best of all it looks really cool.
Plus, there are a bunch of add on accessories that you can buy for them!!

Anyone have an opinion on this barbeque? http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/pr...08474396672583
It's about $900 in store ATM. Do you guys think it'll drop in price next month? I haven't bought a BBQ in a few years so I don't remember when they start discounting these things or just store them for next year. I'm hoping that Napolean one will drop down to about > $700 (fingers crossed)._______________

Centro not bad if the price is right.
I think the Centro veranda model that looks like a buble from space is pretty good. I bought one a couple of days ago and it tooke about 10 minutes to setup and put in place. Great for apartments espeically with restrictive City by-laws. The clincher for me was that I got it for only $59.99..........
great price, so we bought two. One for us and one for my girlfriend's daughter who has just moved into a small apartment condo.
