Chances of exchange / warranty?

I just picked up a Casio EX-S600 camera from Best Buy during a recent sale... I bought it because it was a camera small enough to just carry around in my pocket. However, it now appears that I have accidentally broken the screen (there is a big black pressure mark in it) while carrying it in my pocket. I am not sure how it happened - I always put it in a pocket all by itself to avoid such damage. So I have only had the camera for 5 days and already it is broken and needless to say I am pissed. What are the chances I could convince Best Buy or Casio to replace it for me? Would I have better luck dealing with Best Buy or with Casio directly? Thanks for any suggestions.

I would probably goto Casio directly, going to Best Buy for this will just lead to headaches, and since it is physical damage they will not do anything in the end.
