Chapters return policy?

Are the local Chapters stores return policy the same as their web's?
Will they refund the money or just give the amount as store credit?

when I bought my daughter's books at smaller book retailers and later returned everything (which totalled more than $300) they only let me have store credit though the receipt says nothing about credit only
at first i thought smaller retailers should have better deals but many have poor service

A lot of bookstores are funny about returns and I would suspect especially with $300 worth that's for sure. Personally, I have never returned any (although I would've liked to) but I understand why they do things like this. To prevent abuse. The store credit in this case isn't bad. Some stores won't take back anything and their not obligated legally to do so.
