I picked up the exact same paper for the same price at Future Shop -yet, on their site, it says $3.99.

Too bad FS online is OOS -could have pm'd this!
Driving to FS to pm it could be disappointing because I'm pretty sure that it's still $1.49 instore, and since shipping is included it would be a waste of gas.

Sep 3rd, 2005 09:53 AM #9hey u know what, i remember seeing these copy paper for $1.50/pkg in the newspaper ads along w/ that $2 surge protector sale... so i guess every1 ordered and it went OOS...

so PM instore at FS to save that $0.25/pkg! u only pay $1.25!
(actually no, considering the high gas prices nowadays, it may not be worth ur time/effort/$/gas to drive to FS to save that $0.25x ("X" # of pkgs)... ... unless if u can walk there of course then that's a diff. story
)

Hey, thanks, man! This is a good deal, and we go through paper like crazy at our house; my son likes to roll it up into Star Wars light sabres, so we can always use more paper.
I love the free delivery. I'm still waiting for my 2 packs to come in at The Source, that I bought last week. I'm glad I got in on a good deal this morning. Good start to the weekend, and, it makes your blood tingle a bit. Not as tingly as a 150% Staples PM, but oh well, tingly all the same. The beauty of this deal is that it's not electronics - so it doesn't break you, ha ha!

Sep 3rd, 2005 12:14 PM #11Yes, exactly when I got my paper! One ream and one surge protector... $3.96 after taxes

I was seriously considering that option! I live close enough to FS, I could walk there :P But for those who live a little further... it'd be a waste of gas.
For me, it would be for the sake of PMing, and getting a good deal. I imagine my three little artists wouldn't mind all that paper either. Grab a roll of masking tape from Dollarama... repaper the whole place... removable murals, all around...

and actually, not just that... i find it convenient if u can walk to ur FS and PM that thing that BB sells instead of having to go to BB 1/2 hr drive to get the same thing...
same goes for the ppl who have the reverse BB close, FS far away...
sometimes its not so much as to save that $0.25 via PMing, but to save driving/gas/$/effort to go all to another store that's far far away...

Sep 3rd, 2005 12:57 PM #13Oh no ... 'expensive' light sabres ... hee hee .... When I was young, my brother and I rolled ours with newspaper first and only used white paper at the outmost layer. Reasons :1) newspaper is larger in size and they were virtually 'free' (well, I considered day-old newspapers had no value) so that we could just keep rolling one after another. 2) My mom hated our idea of newspaper so we wrapped them around with a layer of white paper to keep them 'clean'.
