Cheap DVD Movies
This deal is for those in the Vancouver area. If you don't travel near Kingsway & Broadway, then it's probably not worth the effort.
In Kingsgate Mall @ Kingsway & Broadway there's a discount DVD movie store called Lely's Books Etc. They have DVD older movies, end of production DVD movies for $5 to $10. My friend picked up a couple of cartoons for the kids @ $5/piece, sure beats rental.
BTW: The public libraries have DVDs for borrowing, but the late charges are $1/day
.

I've been to the place at Kingsgate Mall and most of the dvds are junk dvds that no one has heard of. Dvds that you find at dollar stores or Army & Navy stores. Dvds with B-Grade actors and direct to video dvds and obscure movies from the 1930's, 1940's, 1950's, that are in the public domain.

Superstore and Walmart both have older DVDs in their bins that sell for less than 5/10/15/etc making this deal average. If the deal was on new movies, than its a great deal but for older movies, odds are you will find it in some bin somewhere @ a low price.
