Why not check out the BST forum? If it weren't for the fact i'm piss poor now, I'd probably pick up some of them. PLUS the sellers are all across Canada, so some are bound to be close by. Even if shipping is required, it'll add a couple $ to each order. i've seen MANY great dvd's in there. And trust me, used DVDs are not worse that brand new DVDs when you play them in almost all instances. If you want the 'brand new' disc... get over it! in 3 wks your keep-case and disc will look just like any other used DVD does.
Ex.
I'm a huge fan of American Pie, and I saw someone selling the 3 disc set for $33 (11 each is a great deal).
LOTR EXT sets ~ $35 for two or $65 for both.
This is my recommended solution path, you'll grow your collection MUCH faster and save a whole load of money while doing so._______________

Jun 5th, 2005 03:54 PM #22BGO has stores across GTA and beyond for used Cd's and DVD's (below ) - prices may not always be the " cheapest " but you can set up a "wish list " for " hard to find " DVD's or discontinued DVD releases / box sets. Site shows store locations and can also trade-in for cash/ credit

Worth monitoring their site from time to time if there's something specific you're looking for. Guide below will help in keyword search at BGO.

BMV used bookshops ( across from HMV @ Dundas/Yonge across from Atrium on Bay + Yonge Eglington location go for $10 +) and Edwards Used Cd and DVD ( Yonge Eglngton ) other good choices with very cheap prices.
Also, can't beat Yonge / Dundas HMV for expanded DVD selelction versus other HMV stores, many priced at 2/$22 etc. - largest selelction of discounted titles of all HMV stores
