The Meineke shops here do oil changes for $19.99. If there is one in Mississauga, give them a call. I'm guessing the prices would be national.

dont forget that many of these places tack on a additional "environmental fee". it may end up negating any of your possible savings.

the cheap under $20 price is usually for bulk 10w30 oil. if your car needs anything thinner (5w30, 5w20, etc.)...most likely it'll be extra. And yes, there's always a $2-3 env disposal fee (even though almost all shops get paid for recycling your used oil).

what a scam. you pay the shop to take your oil oil and recycling places will pay the shop for your old oil!!!

B2 offers $20 special for oil and filter changes on Saturdays. They use 5W-30 oil. So, I'd say that's a pretty good deal.

Costco charges $25 (taxes in) or $21 before taxes. They use the Castrol GTX oil.

look for deals at CT, they had one a few weeks ago for $9.99.

But really, if you are at all mechanically adept, do the oil change yourself. it's the best thing.

Another vote for Costco. They'll rotate your tires for free too. And if you bought your tires @ Costco, they'll balace it for you free of charge as well.

Also, while you wait, you can walk around Costco and try the free food samples.

What garage can do that for $25 (dino oil) or $35 (Castro Syntec has a $10 off sale right now).

Active Green & Ross has "permanent special" (last 5 yrs. or so) in most locations. Like 16.95 or 17.95 plus env. charge plus tax. $21 with everything included.
