Cheap tax and financial software (buyer beware)

Not sure how reputable this web site is but I just wanted to post this find...

Check on the CRA website if it is netfile certified. Otherwise, don't use it for taxes.

Studiotax is CRA certified and free. never paying for tax software again.

CRA certification doesn't mean that the program calculates your taxes properly, it means that it creates an export file in a suitable format for Netfile. It's still very much buyer beware.

I judge companies credibility by their ability to have a barebone, basic looking website at the very least ... and this website you have here smells scam

It did look suspect but I figured for $19.99 I'd give it a try for the 2012 Business version. I paid via paypal and was provided a download link and installed it and it updated via Intuit and appears to be working. I'll post back if something odd comes up... right now I need to restart the computer due to the Intuit updates.
