Cheapest car insurance policies
Which company offer the cheapest insurance policies?
My parents are both 44, and I am 18. Currently we all have G licenses. I just got mine recently and our current insurance company only gave us a credit of $8 per month for that. Right now with the adjustment we are paying $192, and $198 on each car respectively. If anyone knows of any cheap insurance companies around we are thinking of switching companies.
PS. All of our records are clean except for one small accident on my mom's account. Thx for the replies in advance.

Tough to say... where are you located? I'm assuming Ontario, cause of the G licenses. Insurance rates vary by province, city, area within city etc etc. And that doesn't even start to take into account the cars you drive, # of drivers, etc.
Really, your best bet is to call around, as all of the above vary from company to company. Laziness costs in this case (and many others, for that matter)._______________

my experience tells me that it will be the cheapest if it is some kind of group plan. like alumni program, or association program, like P.Eng, etc., or employee program from company.
I am currently with TD Monnex right now with UofT alumni program. I havn't found a competitor that can beat their rate yet.

LOL....u r with monnex now?...that's ironic.
Anyways, I think Monnex has deals for different programs and different program has different discount. I am not sure if they have a programe for students that are currently attending UofT, but then if they do, you will have to be the policy holder instead of your parents.
I have compared other insurer's quote and none of them can match what I have, not even the employee program that was offer through my employer.
It might be different with other ppl tho, not sure. Just sharing my experience and good luck on shopping around!

^ yup thats wat my xperience been as well. Knew Two guys , exact same age and status / similar income and record. Same car (honda prelude). Same place. Different quotes from different companies.
Basically, just because one person gets good deal, doesn't mean you will too.
Just because one person get bad, doesn't mean you will as well

if they find out that you're not a UofT student... they can void your insurance... and when you need to get a reference from your old insurance company you're screwed.

I've used kanetix.ca - it repeatedly gave me the lowest rates. It's a free quote service and they list a number of companies you can choose from. I am just about to to switch to a new company @ 50% savings comparing to my broker offers (I was paying through the nose for 3 tickets and an accident for last three years)
PC Insurance is usually pretty good too.
