Do it yourself. It's cheaper than $25.00.

Yes... But how much cheaper?

I used to change my oil myself, but at almost $20 for 4-6 liters of oil, and minimum $5 for a filter, these days I just take it to a quick lube shop that I trust. Sure, I could maybe save a few bucks doing it myself... Or I could save 1-2 hours of time overall.

cheapest oil change and best is DIY

7Q of motor oil
I use motomaster F1 full synthetic $15 for a jug of 4.4L (stock up when on sale)
so oil cost is $30

filter
mann
~$10

total cost of oil change for a year, $40 plus taxes
since my mileage is less than 15k a year.

If I used LL-01 approved oil by bmw, pay $60 for oil, castrol 0w30

I don't count oil catcher, jacks or filter wrench or in my case 36mm socket adapter for opening the oil canister.

True, for a car you care about or that requires higher end oil, doing it on your own is easily justified.

for essentially all econoboxes though, $25 quickie is plenty fine. Just make sure you trust the shop and their work.
