knowing MDG, its more likely they're 4x 250gb hdds, all IDE, all 5400rpm. The fastest you'll ever get an MDG to run is by throwing it out of a plane.

probably only 3x 250gb 5400rpm Hdd's. the missing space will probably be blamed on the the "size difference" when you format them.

MDG=SCAM or at least a SCAM waiting to happen.

My wife bought a laptop from MDG last year and its worked fine. Two of the folks from work bought desktops from them and they both tell me they have been without any problems at all.
I was going to buy one from them but i had heard lots of bad rumors previously about crappy parts etc but now that i Know that its mostly unfounded, i am going to get my next desktop there.
My wife previously bought a HP at Wallmart and it was a piece of junk from day one - I bought this HP from Staples and its been a great puter _ SO
there are good and bad in every brand model and price.

With the HP at walmart, you could have returned it. Good luck trying to do that with MDG

i think the 2x500gb hd is a typo, theres an extra zero, it should be 2x50gb

oh yeah right.. newbie with 1 post, digs up an old MDG thread and says they are a wonderful company.
it's bad enough to dig up and old thread when there is nothing to contribute, it's even worse when it's defending MDG. yes they have customers, but that's only because they are uninformed.

WTH? No other place I know does this. Was at at a friends house (old man) house 3 weeks ago and was staring at the sticker in disbelief.

I saw this when I bought a PC at a local shop too. It was just stupid.

I say, screw the warranty. Doubt they would cover it anyways or they would make you jump through flaming hoops.
