Chemical and Power Engineering
Have a friend thinking about the program at Lambton in Sarnia. Was wondering if their are jobs available in the gta area? What exactly can one do with this diploma? (kind of work)

The two are not really related, unless they want to specifically develop batteries (electrochemistry), however is VERY specific and almost unlikely to get a job in such a concentrated field.
Power engineering is generally more towards electrical engineering.
To answer your question is very difficult as Engineers are required in basically all industries. I would suggest you look at job postings to get a better idea on specific tasks required.
