2017 Chevy Bolt, 322 kms on ful charge

The Bolt will be able to travel over 200 miles on a single charge and carries a sticker price of $37,500, though that shrinks to $30,000 once government incentives are applied. Fully charging the Bolt will take nine hours with the available 240-watt charger and the car will replenish 25 miles of range per hour.

Powering the Bolt is a single electric motor that makes 200 hp and upwards of 266 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to Chevrolet’s first electronic precision shift system. Basically, it’s a shift-by-wire set-up that requires less packaging space inside the car.

Damn. That's almost a base model s. I was hoping for something reasonable and at that price might as well just get the volt.

Still as ugly if not uglier than the Volt.

Regardless of where the C$ ends up when Bolt is available in Canada, I doubt that it'll be priced more than C$45K before govt incentives.

It would be great if they had some nice leasing terms...

I'm trying to picture it in a better colour than radioactive orange.

I'd be curious to know more about what type of demographic this vehicle will be purchased by.

Actually doesn't look too bad:

Hopefully this spurs more competition in the entry level EV market. I'll most likely still get a Model 3 but the more competition the better!

It's not a bad looking car for the subcompact segment.
