Chick-n-joy (my favourite fried chicken place) finally opened a location in North York! For their opening special, they have 2 pieces of chicken with fries for $3.60 everyday this month. This place is way better than KFC.

Miss the old days when we could get this at KFC for $2. But I think our health is better now that we can't.

I have never tried this place before. How do they rank compared to the other fried chicken restaurants?

Is this the same "Chick N Joy" on queen st E which IMO is the best fried chicken in GTA
Doesn't seem so even though they share the same name

They're not related, but their food is similar.

Looks good, how does it compare to KFC? The KFC in my area is legit trash now. I don't know what happened. I went to the KFC around my home twice and the 2pc chicken was smaller than Popeyes 1pc.

Chick N Joy is slightly better than KFC. I think the chicken and fries are better although the fries have to be eaten when you get them and not the next day.

Still well below places like Popeyes or Mary Browns.

You should try the taters from Chick-N-Joy. They're huge chunks of potatoes. They're very good.

Love their buttermilk biscuits! Fries are great too!

CNJ Chicken is much better than KFC hands down. I personally think CNJ is what KFC should have been (or used to be before all the various corporate change of ownerships).

I usually go to their Kingston Rd/Morningside Ave location in Scarborough -- which has the best consistent well made food IMHO.

man, chick-n-joy really brings me back. They had a huge chain late 90's early 00's.

Fresh cut fries (none of this frozen BS) the chicken was tasty too, although, upon occasion got the trots from them. Hope its the same concept. Brings me back
