Chin-Up Bar for P90x
As the topic states.
Picked this up a couple weeks ago, works great. Shipping is expensive, but if you're in the GTA you can just pick one up in store for $60
http://www.treadmillfactory.ca/?goto...od&id_prod=609
Also, when I was originally searching for this I found this place in GVR for $50

Just started P90x yesterday!

I'd be worried about ripping my door frame down.

Good luck with the program
The door frame will be okay. It distributes the weight into the wall as well as down. I've used it and haven't had any issues.
P90X is crazy hard but works wonders if you stick to it. I'm on week 8 at the moment and it's been great.Last edited by kazza_ca; Mar 31st, 2009 at 10:07 AM.

the one walmart sells is the regular version, I recommend you get the Power Trainer Pro or Power Gym Pro. The slanted bars makes a difference when doing pull up's. It's easier to do and it targets the right muscle. As you build the muscles, and supporting muscles and neural pathways for that motion, you can try the various bar positions that is avil on the bar. I try to knock out 50-70 pulls up spread across the whole day. Lot of people avoid pull ups because it's hard, but like everything else you have to start slow and practice constantly. Once your back muscles are well developed, you'll notice you make better gains in your chest. That's because back muscles are complimentary to chest, muscles. Your body tries hard to keep symmetry. If you talk any PT's, they'll suggest you do push up's, bench then after that do rows in a superset. Also pull up's are mass builders, they add thick slabs to your frame.
Shawn is a big advocate of pull up's. Do them kids.

The IronGym one looks decent at half the price, not as heavy duty as the P90x bar but may suffice, shipping is also a lot less than treadmillfactory.
