Chinese New Year

For those who celebrate it, what's your plans for this day (or these couple of days since it seems to be a celebration spanned into a few days/week)?
And more specifically, where are you gonna eat/what are you gonna eat?

I think friday my family (minus my brother but plus relatives) are gonna go out to dinner. I'm not sure where yet. Maybe Sam Woo or this restaurant up at Hwy 7 in Times Square. I forget the name. Where the decor is EXTREMELY red and gold.

Saturday, I'm going to my friend's house for dinner. They're Hakka. So I expect pretty hot & spicy dishes. In fact, my friend has told me expect hot & spicy dishes with alot of seafood thrown in. I expect to be drinking ALOT of water that day.

Sunday, I think my Mom's gonna be cooking up a storm for my immediate family (plus my brother's "adopted/god" sister). Mom vaguely mentioned plans to make crab, steamed fish, sweet & sour pork amongst other family favourites.

So what are your plans? :)

Meals with family. Visiting friends. Go to the Toronto Celebrates Festival to get some freebies. Go to Pacific Mall to buy some new year candies and goodies. I think there's a new mall opening across from Pacific Mall so I'll go there too.

I have a craving for WanTan Noodles. So I think I may do that for lunch and then dinner with family in the evening.
