Does this phone support Telus/Rogers network?
Any idea on how to translate the following bands?
2G: GSM B5/B8/B3/B2
3G: WCDMA B1/B2/B5/B8
4G: FDD-LTE:B1/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B20, TDD-LTE B38/B40

Tried to google search but could not get the answer.
Thanks!

B4 and B7 are Rogers LTE bands.
B5 and B7 are Telus LTE bands.

Brought me Redmi Note 3 Pro to Vegas over the weekend using Roam Mobility and the connection is terrible. Notice the battery life was pretty awful as well ( i suspects its do to the phone looking for a decent connection).

So is Note 4 a good phone? Looking to get it for my parents, interested in the battery life and camera. Is this the best option at this price range?

Thanks, sounds like it should be just what I am looking for.

I purchased a 3GB 32GB model from the AliExpress Xiaomi Online Store, as recommended here https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/wiki/general/purchase

Hey that deal on geekbuying looks good (I want the 4GB version). What exactly is the "tempered glass option" .....maybe a dumb question but is this just a sleeve or is the glass on the phone actually tempered? or should I buy just the base package and then get a case separately?

Has anyone tried the Redmi 4X instead of the Note 4? I'm looking for a 5 inch phone. Considering the Moto G4 Play or Moto G5 but the specs on the Xiaomis are so much higher.

Can someone please %100 confirm that the Redmi Global Note 4

http://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?i ... l&u1=rfdcb

Works %10000 with all bands in Canada? specifically Koodo (Telus)?
Where do you live? It's missing some bands but it doesn't affect like 90% of Canadians. For example, a Redmi Note 4 user in Ottawa will have complete band support.

Thanks for the reply, I'm in Montreal.

So an update, after going full retard on researching which Chinese phone is the "god phone" I landed on the Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro.

It's currently on sale for $269.99 USD, as I think they're going to launch it's successor in a month, so the prices are good, and stock is low.

https://www.banggood.com/Lenovo-ZUK-Z2- ... mds=search

- 5.2" instead of the Note4's 5.5" (which is better for me, 5.5" is a bit unwieldy)
- 6 GB RAM
- 128 GB storage (!!!)
- super OLED (!!!!)
- snapdragon 820
- smaller battery (3100mAh) but....
- quickcharge 3.0 (11w)
- USB C
- less bezel on the frame sides
- less black boarder around screen
- heartrate monitor, blood oxygen monitor, UV sensor (point at the sun, and it tells you what SPF sunscreen you need LOL) and a whole lot of other weird "fitbit"-type stuff
- supposedly superior fingerprint scanner from most other phones
- camera has OIS, 4k video
- 960 FPS slow-mo video recording mode (WTFFFFF)

Oh, and the 128GB storage version (linked) seems to have ALL OF THE BANDS:

2G: GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz
CDMA800MHz
3G: WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz
TD-SCDMA B34/B39
CDMA2000 800MHz
4G: FDD-LTE B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/20
TDD-LTE B38/B39/B40/B41

Wow, just wow. I don't know why I'd need to, but I kind of want to order 2, there has to be someone in my life that needs this. Sure it's a non-conventional OS, but it seems very usable, and about the same amount of mild quirkyness as any other chinese phone. I don't mind a very things being a bit different, as long as the functionality is all there, so this is a no-brainer for me. Let me know what you guys think!

Tbh, sounds great. A little too great. I never came across this in my research, what are reviews like?
