Chinese school for kids in Oakville?
We just moved here. Is there any Chinese learning program for kids? If not, I'd like to start a pioneer program so my daughter keeps learning Chinese.
If I do start this program, would any non-Chinese parents be interested in sending their kids to learn Chinese? I probably will do an after school class for alternate days, just to work with my daughter's upcoming JK school hours.

chinese school
In Mississauga, we have at least 2 Chinese schools on Saturday mornings. It's done in the Dufferin Separate school board. There should be one in Oakville too.
It's part of the Heritage language program.
For Halton region the link is

And Happy New Year to you!

No Mandarin school/program in Oakville. They have one in Cantonese. I guess I will start a pioneer program then.

Mandarin Language program in Oakville
Hi Freeair,
Did you start a Mandarin program in Oakville? My daughter is 7 and we will be moving back to Oakville after spending 4 years in Shanghai. Her Mandarin is quite good and am looking for a program she can participate in to continue learning.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks.
Charyl

Would love to know too if one is available in Burlington or Oakville. I know a friend teaches Mandarin at a school in Oakville but seeing how it isn't listed, it may be operating outside of the Halton School Board. Would love to know what the alternatives are if there is a huge difference in the teaching styles among classes.
The link above is not working by the way.
