Choosing a realtor
I'm a first time home buyer with a few Qs about finding and picking a realtor.
Are there resources to find realtors that would be compatible?
Do realtors specialize? (ie. condos, houses, downtown, suburbs, etc)
Is it customary to meet for coffee (for ex.) to see what they're like?
What things should I be looking for when making my decision?
Thanks

Interview a couple realtor's I am not sure of any resources but best way would be through referrals, ask people you trust for their realtor's.
I would stay away from those that talk a lot about themselves rather than trying to understand you and your needs.
There is nothing wrong with using two realtor's and see who can provide you with better service and options.
Yes some realto's might "specialize" in a certain area, but anyone could say they specialize in "condo's" or "townhouses".
