Choppy phone calls from home, what can cause this ?

I've been with Fido for years and always had god reception here in Milton.
In recent home we've been for 3 years, always good call quality, but around maybe 2 months ago all calls from home are choppy.
Both on my phone LG G6 and my wife's LG G5, every second or third word gets chopped, can't have normal conversation.
As soon as I step outside all is well, and call quality is top notch.
Called Fido but no help of course, we didn't add anything to home recently to cause some issues.

Do you by any chance live in, or near, a large apartment or condo building ? If yes, there is chance that it may have just installed new cellular towers or new garage door remote system or something that causes interference with cellular signals

1) Install a signal level app ( e.g Network cell Lite) It should show the network type ( LTE etc) as well as the signal level. If on wifi, it also indicates your wifi signal strength.
2) Since you are on Fido, have you set up wifi calling on both phones. If you have, is the setting ; 'Wi-Fi Preferred' or ' Mobile network preferred' ?

Turns out that it was the VoLTE feature that was ON on both phones, turned it off and so far working great.
WiFi calling never was enabled, so I left it off.
