Just a friendly reminder, that tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of June's incentives and , including the $1500 Lease to Retail Bonus Cash for those that are currently in a Lease and remaining stock on 2011's.
2011 Canada Value's Grand Caravan are pretty much all gone at this point._______________

Hi Eric,
Sorry for the few days delay in posting up. Been extremely busy. Its all there now. Chrysler had extended the incentives. The biggest notable change is the $3000 Lease to Retail for people who are currently in a Chrysler Lease that matures anytime between July 1st and beyond. This is the biggest Lease to Retail I've seen.
Hi Daniel,
Good Luck find a Dodge Grand Caravan Canada Value. They are far and few in between. SXT's are still plenty out there, If you and your friends are financing, then go with the SXT, you get a better rate then you would on the CVP. Dealers are always clearing the lot, its what we do. 2012's should be here hopefully Sept/Oct as our inventory on 11's are dwindling down. You can wait, but you're not likely to get a better deal as supplies go down and demand goes up, you could be stuck with a colour/options you don't want and the 2012's won't have the same kind of deals on 11's you see now.
Let me know Eric/Daniel if you guys need any help._______________

Thank you, T, sounds like I should go shopping now if I want a CVP and I'd better pay cash. I'm in Alberta and local dealer quoted about 21K OTD, but when I asked cash discount, he told me that he can only give me some free services instead. I understood dealer need to be profitable and service usually has higher margin. How much cash discount is reasonable? or what kind of free services could I ask? Sorry for the questions, this will be my first new vehicle. My current and previous cars are all used.
Daniel

HI Daniel,
Cash or Finance makes no difference. You would get the same discount either way....at least with Chrysler anyways. Its more beneficial to the dealer if you finance as the banks give referral fees for us sending customers their way. You're in a supply and demand situation right now. More demand then supply available. So for them to quote 21K OTD, PLUS give you some free service, if you threaten to walk I wouldn't be surprised if they let you. But it doesn't hurt to ask. Good Luck Daniel, Buying a car is an exciting experience!_______________

Leaving the Car Business July 22nd,11
Dear Redflagdeals Community,
It has been my a wild ride since I started in the Business back in the summer of 2008. http://forums.redflagdeals.com/got-2...rysler-612370/ Chrysler is definately on the upswing with much improved products and of course, Chrysler is still # 3 in Canada after Ford and GM. I just gave in my 2week notice last Friday, so my last day will be July 22nd,2011. It has been an absolute privilege to be in the position of helping people make some of the 2nd biggest purchase decision here in Mississauga. I especially wanted to put a special thank you out to the RFD community. I have met many of you over the 3 years and even in that short time, I've gotten some repeat business. So a special thank you to everyone who has given me the opportunity to earn their business. This role had definately open my eyes and I learn alot. Its given me new found respect for both the man and women who choose to be on the front lines and also the people who choose to not ride bikes or horses on a daily basis. I will still be active on the forums. I'm moving away east of the GTA into the Kawartha Area and will be joining my successful friend in the Freight Broker transportation industry so I"m definitely looking forward to my life and new role.
But until I do, for anyone who would like my direct help, I"m still available to sell you a vehicle until July 22nd,11. After that, I have a few colleagues at my work that I could refer you too and a couple I'd not....lol.
I think all my online access to all the incentive programs will be cut off after I leave but if by some fluke I can still log in after Aug 1st, I'll post up August programs, but for all intents and purpose this month is my last month putting them up.
Sincerely,
Tung Nguyen_______________

Tung - sorry to hear you are leaving.... but hey....you'll be closer to me
I am glad I got to buy from you this year, and I was going to come back in another four..... it's the same with everything....as soon as you find a product you like they stop making it.....
That being said, I think it sounds like this is a fantastic opportunity for you and I know you will excel in your new job..... (btw let me know who you use for freight insurance....

Any idea if dealerships can create keys for Jeep vehicles based off VIN?
I have an old 1996 Jeep I lost the key for (no chip/immobilizer).Last edited by guy312; Jul 30th, 2011 at 05:34 PM.

i think it would be wise for a chrysler salesman to fill the shoes of Tung on this thread....just sayin

Looking for a new Jeep 2012, but i'm holding my breathe for some sort of factory incentives (financing, cash back etc)...
From reading the thread, it appears that the incentives start popping up early in the new year
