I was not impressed with it but it will depend on your preference. I found the CIL alot harder to paint with then the higher end ones like Benjamiin Moore, but your also talking more money.

I've used Behr and Benjamin Moore before. When I wanted to paint my powder room dark purple, the color is only available from CIL paint (Purple Granite). To be honest, I couldn't tell the difference b/w all these brands. I guess I am not a paint pro. :D

I am seriously considering purchasing this paint this week.

Thank you!!! :)

If you can wait for the Rona buy 2 cans of paint, get 1 free... Wait. I've seen go on sale twice this year. Any paint brand in the store!

I bought boxes of the regular BM paint and went back to get it mixed.

I personally find the top of the line BM paint (Collection) edition harder to paint. Several rooms were painted in that. The darker the colour, the harder it is. Must paint very evenly and try not to go go over areas again painted moments ago. I forget the term (colour looks slighly off in dim light, viewed at an angle), so make sure if anyone is painting this brand - apply the paint very evenly.

You can go to a CIL store and buy their high paints for that price. There are always deals being advertised or just get an employee number from a friend who is a city worker, teacher, etc as they get 40% off all the time.

The top end CIL/ Glidden paint is great to paint with (we did the whole house)avoid the cheaper version that are sold at HD and Lowes under brands like Behr.

The brand I used was actually ICI which is made by the same company as CIL. The stores usually go under Glidden or something like that. Look on their website or in the yellow pages.

For my wife who is a public health nurse she just gives them a 6 digit number (her employee number) that they never check and says she works for the region of durham. I use her number and they never question it! Great stuff.

CIL paints, at least the ones you get from HD are terrible.

I used eggshell CIL paint for my hallways and it marks up terribly.

I used eggshell Benjamin moore paint for my liviing room, and it's so thick i couldn't even mark it up with a knife.

You usually pay for what you get, I guess paint is no exception.
