Anyone know if the birthday thing works in 2012 as well? I assume it does (Dec baby), if so getting one or two of these for me would be a good deal - use the free admission, free small popcorn and the upgrade to go see skyfall with plenty left over

I checked CardSwap, they're buying 30 dollar Cineplex gift cards for $23.40. Therefore, for $6.60 you can get free admission during your birthday month, popcorn, 2 for 1 admission, etc... If hundreds of people start doing this, the price they're paying for a gift card will probably lower a bit, but as of right now, it's a fairly hot deal. If I went to the movies I would be all over this.

It's not valid only until Jan '13, that's only the $10 bonus e-card. I don't know the expiration dates for the other coupons but the "free admission on your birthday month" one has to be valid for at least a year.

It's saying you have to spend the $30 by the 5th. The rest you still keep probably for a while.
It is a hot deal if you go to the theatre a lot and get concessions. Even if you don't the B1G1 coupon is worth it alone.

Just a thought but you can piggy back these cards using your gift cards to purchase the next gift cards.

This thread just got interesting.
EDIT: I can confirm, you can purchase gift cards with gift cards. This is now extremely hot.

It's just a matter of how to implement that strategy. Buy in theater then order online? It wouldn't last too long to do in person more than once or twice.

Thanks for the post OP. I just ordered a $30 physical gift card and I was able to pay it with another gift card I already have. I checked the fine print in the Cineplex website and it doesn't say anything about not receiving the gift pack if you pay with a gift card. Hopefully they will still send everything as listed in the promotion otherwise they will be receiving a phone call from me. Also, FYI, there is a 99cent shipping/handling fee for those ordering the physical card to your door.

YMMV for sure especially for Tuesday filmgoers up where I am as it's only $4.99 that day. $7.99 regular. $10.99 3D.

Did anyone buy the $50 e-card and use it to buy the $30 physical card?

Seems like a deal I might get in on, since my birthday is in July so hopefully good movies rolling out then
But I'll probably have to end up re-watching movies or going to the theatre on my own in July if I get this which is putting me off a bit. Oh well, I think it's worth the hassle.

at the cost they are selling it, its not more expensive than gold either!! (not sure if your video was on topic or not, but here's the synopsis)
I never thought of it but i'm with ijustgotadeal. For the price they charge and the extra costs is actually cost them, they should have kept it, greedy bstrds!
