Cineplex job

Hi all,

I have a job interview for cineplex on the 26th. I have no idea what to wear. it's just the job that starts at minimum wage. ideas would be appreciated.

Nice shirt, pants, and dress shoes would be fine in my opinion. Maybe a tie.

I agree, formal wear is important because you have to prove to the company that you are serious about the job.

it's minimum wage and it's good to dress formally like everyone here have said but its not necessary as some don't really care what you wear for the interview. It's how you answer your questions and such.

I'd say khakis instead of jeans and a shirt, something you'd buy from Mexx, formal but not too formal is my point.

By the way, how the hell do you apply to a regular position at Cineplex? It says 'cast members' on their website (does't have any available positions where I live), so would you just apply to the 'cast member' thing? Good luck with the interview.

Khakis, Dress pants are safe
Shirts with collars. Could be a button up dress shirt of a conservative polo shirt.

No jeans or runners.

I used to work at cineplex while I was in school. Its good pay to pay of your school tuition and books, but the work sucks. I worked there part-time for 4 years sadly, but I guess its good cause it was 5 mins away for me, and hours are extremely flexible (sometimes I only worked 1 shift a week)

Be prepared to serve long ass lineups during rush times and rude customers.

We always had a lot of "credits" at the end of the night to "throw away"
