Prices according to:
http://www.beerprices.ca
These are just the highlights, there are other beers on sale that are not listed:
Blue fans - $1 off 15 bottles ($18.95), the 15 and 24 packs are best value - see Blue
Budweiser fans - $6 off 28 bottles ($36.95), the 28 and 30 packs are best value - see Budweiser
Canadian/Coors fans - 30 bottles for $40 is best value - see Canadian, and Coors Light
Get2Gether (12 Canaidan/12 Coors Light), $3 off a 24, but better value to buy 15 pack of Canadian and 15 pack of Coors Light seperate - see Get2gether
Bud Light fans - 28 bottles is $6 off ($36.95), 28 and 30 pack are best value (15/30 cans on sale also) - see Bud Light
Trailhead Premium Lager - never tried this, 24 bottles $3 off ($29.95) - see Trailhead Premium Lager
Heineken - no real sales - see Heineken
Corona - no real sales - see Corona
Keiths - no real sales - see Keiths
For around the pool or lake this weekend, cans are always in good style: (These are standard size cans, tall-boys are usually better value)
- Carling Lager 48 packs are $1.30/serving
- Laker Lager 15/30 packs are for $1.34/serving
- Lucky Lager 24 pack is $1.36/serving
- Old Milwaukee 24 pack is $1.36/serving
- Miller Genuine Draft (one of my favorites) 24 pack $1.70/serving
- Stella, you are going to pay $2/serving for these
TIP!!
Get to the beer store earlier rather than later, in my experience in some smaller beer stores run out of the sizes that are on sale before Saturday and you are stuck paying way more.
Enjoy your Civic Holiday!

thanks for your efforts but it's really sad when $1 off beer is considered a "sale" here in Ontario.

It is sad that we live in a nanny state where the beer distribution system is based on bread distribution in the USSR. Everyone line up out the door, don't get to see the product and if you're lucky, they might send it out from behind the wall. It's one of the worst systems in Canada, they don't even have off sales to make up for the lame system. Guelph, a town of 130,000 has 4 LCBO's and 4 beer stores, one of the LCBO's is less than 1200 sq/ft and only carries about 200 skus. When I lived in Calgary, I had 4 for 10,000 people, prices lower and choice was much, much higher. But the unions are so strong here, we won't see a change.

Going to try the Trailhead and support a local brewer. Actually, I wonder what prices they sell it for at their beer store?

Anybody had trailhead?? good?? what does it compare to?
Also, anybody see that article last week regarding the petition to get corner stores to be able to sell beers -- anybody know where that might be... I would like to sign it (with disdain)

I might pick up a 15 pack of Blue......$1 off isn't great, but comparing it to the $29.95 for the 24 pack, it's about the same price per bottle. Of course, it might be time to try something different (which I'll probably regret)?

AND I pay for someone else's water and parks. It's tyranny!
What thread are you in right now?
Wow small towns don't have as many liquor stores as large cities
Which union exactly is conspiring against you?
