Civic SI 2006 wheel & tire question?
What are the specs (offset and complete wheels and tire specs) for 2006 civic SI? also would it be possible to fit wheels from 2006 accord into 2006 SI or do they have different bolt patterns, offsets? i was also thinking about this setup 235/40ZR/18 95W........possible or not?
P.S. i know both of these cars have 5 bolt designs but not sure about their bolt patterns offsets and such. thx for help in advanceLast edited by Andro; Mar 12th, 2006 at 09:41 AM.

i know they don't......im just saying this setup: 235/40ZR/18 95W was on accord, wondering if i can transfer this to civic. That's why i need to know if they have same offsets, bolt patterns and so on.

1. honda doesn't know anything about this, all they know is that stock honda wheels fit........they are stupid i called them before.
2. it's a 6cyl, V6
3. actually the reason i don't get RSX is because it is but ugly, the worst shape i'v ever seen, integra type R was good but RSX is way beyong ugly.........civic is the one i like......plus the question was about the tire and wheel size that i can fit in, not why i don't buy RSX, so let's stay on the topic here.

You speedo will be off by 3-4% (too fast); which is reasonable. I'm assuming the 235/40/18 are factory Honda/Acura wheels: in which case the offset should be ok but the tires are quite wide and fill up the fender of the Accord/TL/TSX already. On a Civic it might look a little odd (given the smaller wheel well and smaller brakes) or worse yet the tires might rub the inner fender when you turn.
It'll bolt up fine; but you'll need a trial fit to make sure. Why do you need W rated tires on a civic though? No way your gonna reach 270 clicks/hr unless you drop the car out of a plane

it's not honda wheels.......they don't make them that big......it's aftermarket enkei RPM2 and i had them on my accord with no problems whatsoever even lowered.......im just wondering if anyone knows for sure if these specs are ok for civic too

Is it me or is this reply not at all helpful?

what matters more is the offset and the width of the wheel. check the owner's manual for details.
