I just pressed continue button, and it automatically ordered!

I thought that it would ask for my confirmation or credit card information.
It said that my order had been received and the invoice would be sent to my home.
Good thing that their customer service is top notch. I was able to call right away, and I told them to cancel the order. They told me that the order was so new that it didn't come up in their system, but they would refresh often and cancel asap and send me cancellation confirmation info.
Waiting for the confirmation from their side.

i also had a bad experience with them. i again, since they don't have a final confirmation, accidentally ordered. i sent and email to cancel right away, they never responded and the glasses never showed up, so all was well. That is, until 3 weeks later the glasses showed up. So I called to send them back. The CSR was great, sent the paper work out, I send the glasses back. All's well that ends well, until the emails started coming from the collection agency. When I phoned they told me that it automatically goes to a collection agency but that my glasses were in the process of being returned and were 'in the system'. I won't go into details but I was furious.
After some thought, I think this 'collection agency' might be a scam on their part, since I couldn't get a hold of them.
Finally, I would not deal with someone who does send bills off to a collection agency right away (less than 30 days after receiving the glasses and they had been returned and were in their warehouse at the time). A black mark on your credit rating is not worth the savings when you can save more on glasses easily from other companies listed here on RFD.

just went to costco and made my purchase.
acuvue oasys @ 25.99/box.
NO TAX AT ALL. clearly contacts chages $30 on handling and insurance fees for a yrs supply (8 boxes).
my total came to $207.92 for 8 boxes and i get $50 rebate.

and there's the clincher -- Clearly Contacts seems to be a company that cares less -- whether they give your file to a collection agency or actually do the price match they benefit the same amount of money -- it's easier for them to just sell the file to a collection agency! Seems likely they might collect more selling your debt to the collection agency than price matching their competition.......

I've read your post a couple of times.
It seems clear that whatever they told you, they didn't actually send anything to a collection agency. So whinging about it publicly seems kind of strange.
I placed 4 orders last night. I called in this morning to combine them, and make some changes. They confirmed everything, re-entered my coupon code on their own, comped shipping as it was over $129, and more.
If I get 8 pairs of glasses and a collection agency referral, I'll let you know, but I doubt that's going to happen.

I will make this quick.
Ordered a free pair in OCT.
1 week after ordering got an email that the frames were oversold/out of stock, so I changed frames.
2 weeks later got the frames, temples were spread out past 90 degrees, did not fit. Talked to a glasses dispenser that my dad knows about the fit. He said send them back.
Got email about paying, payed about $5, shipping ect.
Called in and got shipping documents. Sent glasses back a week later.
1 week later got perfect fitting frames, prescription is correct.
What I haev learned:
1. Wait, what, I just ordered glasses? WTF?!
2. Optometrists and dispensers are PISSED about this company. LOL, quit ripping us off then. Like the say free exam and fitting and then kill you on the contacts and the glasses.
3. Clearly contacts CSR's are pretty good..

I am new here, but had to write something about Clearly Contacts.
My husband and I have ordered from them approx 6 times. Each time we are asked to pay a different amount.
The reason we liked them is that it was fast shipping and you can pay by PayPal. The first 3 orders were great! We loved their CSRs.
Now- we had an issue with a payment. I paid via online banking instead of Paypal. They said it would take THREE WEEKS to process and would not send the contacts (I have one old pair of glasses!). I called them several times. Some of the CSR managers were rude, one told me to look after my finances and another hung up on me. I left messages for 3 different people. Finally got someone who knew what they were doing. It did take about two full weeks to get them.
Next time we needed contacts, did not want to go to Costco (we live 2 hours away, but that is where we used to go). I called and they pricematched, so no problem. Next time, they said no free shipping and that the price match would not be in US Dollars (1800Contacts). So paid $40 more for the same thing!?
Next time, I called it was even more money. As I said, never the right amount. Also, not sure if they do overnight FedEx unless you pay for that.
I just tired daysoftlenses.com after reading some posts on here. I ordered one month, so we will see how it goes.
I just dont' see how one order can be $92 and the next $145? These are for Focus Dailies, the old ones--so should not be such a fluctuation in price!
I would say call them, and try to use all the coupons you can. And don't be in a rush!

i have placed an order after price matching with

that were 22.95$ usd
Customer Rep from clearlycontacts didn't even bother where i got that price from...
total for 8 boxes came to 171$ CA, pretty good deal considering that on the non-adjusted bill, total runs to 293$
could not apply any promo code...was told from rep that it's either a promo code or a price match...
last year...i was able to do both for another order of lenses...no luck this time
