Anandtech.com has a jobs thread in their OT forum, no one complaining over there, probably best to make it a sticky and consolidate to one thread like Anand has done....

Close/ban job request threads in OT and/or create a separate forum for job seekers
Today alone we've had 3 or 4 threads in OT from people looking for employment. Now I don't have a problem with people seeking work but it's starting to get annoying seeing the OT forum littered with these threads. Either ban and close these types of threads or create a separate employment forum much like Howardforums did. I'm sure that having a separate forum (with faqs) would be a lot more efficient than having people constantly ask the same questions in OT like "I'm 14 years old, no experience, where can I work?". Employers looking for people can post there as well.

Hey, you're right. Threads like "Be careful where you masturbate" and "machines that flatten pennies" are way more important.
Personally, I don't know why some guys are jumping on these threads. They are not hurting anyone.

I have no problem with job request threads but I don't like how there are multiple threads. One is all you need. Either create a sticky or create an employment forum.

It's the Off-Topic thread. As long as it's within current rules, there's no reason to complain.
Things come and go. If three or four topics in Off-Topic annoy you, they'll be gone soon. I've never noticed them before today, so saying "today alone" really doesn't say much. Gather some hard data on the number of job-seeker threads to other useless threads in OT and maybe you'll have something.
Besides, with the state of the job market lately, I have a lot of sympathy for those looking for work.
And the Penny-Crushing thread is useful.
I had to post it to resolve an argument at work.
