I actually saw the first episode in Las Vegas in the spring of this year (one of those "review a television show things at the MGM grand").
Thought it was "ok" but nothing that I would make an effort to see.

The ads on CTV don't look anything special, but I'll try it once. I also saw the premiere of the truly atrocious Committed because of Finnegan.
