It's that stupid show-off aspect of the rising black entertainment industry. Look at all these rappers/hiphop artists who get the one big hit and all of a sudden, spending like there's no tomorrow not to mention an expansion of their posse.
This also goes for rednecks like Britney's loser hubby.

Ya man I agree with you. The show off-y and the obnoxious stuff that rappers have to get to maintain their image is getting out of hand. All that gold chains, golden grillz, ESCALADEs with spinners (I admit those things are cool when u stop and they keep going, but the fact that taxis have it w/ ads on it kinda of kills the appeal ). Well as long as they keep getting hits they will be able to finance it.

Wesley Snipes hasnt acted in years, Blade III being his last movie. Wasn't too fond of the movie, found it to be a bit too short and it left many holes in the story.

I wonder what Eddy Murphy or Alfonso Ribiero is doing. What about Will Smith? They can't all be in dire financial situations.

Will Smith was never about the bling. He's a smart dude. He had a full ride scholarship to Caltech (and some other Ivy League school) but Bel Air came on and he didn't need to go that route anymore.

...Blade 3 was not his last movie...When Blade 4 clsoed, he was reportedly earning betwenn 15-20 million per picture. He's also produced & directed many smaller films. In addition he's had a career on the DVD film market. Since Blade 3 in 2004, he's also starred or been in:

Will & Eddie Murphy won't be going broke anytime soon. I hear they have invested wisley over the years and Will learned & made his financial mistakes early on in his career. BTW, have you heard about Eddies new wife 2 be = Scary Spice.

Maybe Wes is busy warpping production on these movies which might explain why the IRS & Govt can't find him. I'd hate to be the officer who arrests him. He knows like 7 martial arts styles & even escaped from Tommy Lee Jones...I'm sure he's not going to jail anytime soon. He'll find a way out.
