Collect 8 specially marked pouchbag tops and mail by December 31st, 2010 for 2 regular adult tickets to Cineplex Theaters.

Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. 1 per household - only while supplies last

I saw these Maltesers/M&M bags going for $3.27 at Walmart.

here is a pic I took of the top:

I took a glance at the fine details on the package. Looks like get 2 tickets valid at the Cineplex theater closest to your postal code. Not a good deal if the local Cineplex in your area is a dump.

Also, 8x$3.27 + postage = $26+ = Regular price or more for 2 Adult Cineplex theatre tickets and at any theatre. This is as cold as it can be!

But you're also getting 8 large bags of candy. Good deal if you were going to be buying them anyway. Thanks OP.

If you want to look at it another way, $26 is price of two tickets and one bag of M&M at the theater.

I looked at fine print too and thought the same. My local cineplex is half a block from my home and their price is $8 on weekends & weekend-nights. I think they're $5 during the week. If the free tickets were for downtown then maybe it'd be ok 'cause downtown is $13 at the scotia bank theatre (formerly paramount).

This offer is only convenient for people who'd be buying 8 bags of candy anyway. BTW 2 of the 4 bags of Maltesers I felt, at Jean-Talon & Decarie walmart location in Montreal, were a solid chunk like all the maltesers in the bag melted together and solidified into one big really hard chunk. I couldn't even loosen them.

Note to those in the area of the Jean-Talon & Decarie Walmart: Ghetto_Child may have 'felt' your candy bags. :D

COME ON!!!
does no one remember the Skittles deal from Mac's
http://forums.redflagdeals.com/5-skittl ... et-596200/

I cashed in on that with 7 movie passes after buying a case of skittles at Costco!!

Yes, I paid for the tickets essentially but then i got all that delicious candy free!!

I will have to do the math on this to see if it works out the same but... it might have legs!!

^That Skittles deal was WAY better than this - I got like 30 passes out of that thing... only 2 passes per household makes this ice cold - however there is a very real chance my house could collect 8 bag tops by the end of this promo since it's running so long, so it'd be a nice bonus but I'm not rushing out.

Guys, a lot of new releases often have fine print that say passes are not valid for this movie. These free movie tickets might fall under that category.

Yeah Scotiabank theater is the only good Cineplex in Montreal. Another one that comes in second would be the one in Kirkland.

^They might, but usually with offers like this they are the standard cineplex admit one, which is valid regardless of pass restrictions - but we won't know for sure until someone actually sends away and receives them.

bump.. price is now 2.50$ per bag from 3.27$ i believe.

2.5X8= $20 plus tax for 8 bags plus 2 free movie tickets.

Makes the deal warmer.

Thanks OP.. picked up 8 assorted today at $2.99 each - $25.12 total

I see the movies anyways and my local Theatre is $11.95 a ticket, so basically the 8 bags of candy will have cost me about $2 in the end.
