Columbia house unwanted shipments

I cannot remember what to do with them, do I write Refused on the package?
or Return to sender?

Couldn't find on their website what the protocol is.

If you did not order them, you are not obligated to pay for them. You can do what you want with it, unless they request that you send it back.

Haha.. they won't request for you to send it back. If they don't get it back, they charge you. As simple as that. Mark "return to sender" and drop it in a mail box.

Their business model is to send out selections of the month to everyone - hope they forget to send them back, maybe even want it - and effectively brute force a sale.

Send it back or be charged.

edit: He may not have "ordered" it per say - but he agreed to the terms and conditions upon joining - which states that he will receive selected titles by mail automatically.

yes, mark "return to senders" and send it back or you will be charged.

If you gave your cc when you signed up or at any point after that, you will have already been charged when they shipped it out. As others have said, put "Return To Sender" on it and put it back in the mail. I usually add "did not order" so it is clear why it is coming back.

As others have said, "return to sender" it. After 2-3 of these they'll get the hint and stop sending you crap.
