Great power supply. It's identical to the Silverstone Element 500W. Go for it. I honestly didn't know DC carried Enhance.
Asking it to last 3-4 years isn't the issue, it's whether it will hold up to future upgrades, as power requirements are always changing.

comments on this enhance psu?
I'm looking to get a higher wattage power supply. My system specs are in my sig. I was wondering if the power supply below is a good one that can power all of the stuff in my sig w/o any problems at all and will last a long time ie. 3-4 years? I'm currently using this psu Sparkle Power SPI ATX-400PN 400W PS

Thanks for the response, but I have another question here. I just checked the specs of it in terms of the amps it pushes out on the individual rails and they are lower than the Sparkle 400w I'm using. Any idea why? Or is lower the better?

That's just the maximum each rail is rated to do, not the total +12V output capacity. Your ATX-400 can do 29A on the +12V overall, the Enhance/Silverstone can do 35A overall. You want power on the +12V.
348W divided by 12 = 29A
420W divided by 12 = 35A_______________

I believe Antec has recently hit the shitter in terms of quality. As for the Cooler Master, I'm not sure.

I hear this Enhance unit is very good.
As for Antec, their Earthwatts units are pretty good but everything else has gone sour.

Skip those. The first is a rebadged Fortron. The Enhance is still better. The Coolermaster is a rebadged Seventeam 500W unit. Not the greatest but definitely not 600W.
Stop believing them then. They're all Seasonic now.
Earthwatts is Seasonic. TruePower Trio is Seasonic. NeoHE is Seasonic. They're all good stuff._______________

There is this Muskin 550W on sale for $70 at ncix. Not sure how good it is though. I am looking for one too so any comments will be helpful.

The Enhance is more efficient and is quieter. The Mushkin offers a modular cable interface. I would go with the Enhance.

The Mushkin 550W is only rated at 28A on the +12V... versus the 35A the Enhance gets on the +12V. Higher wattage rating, less output where it counts. I would skip it. Not a great power supply.

Yeah, get the Enhance one. It's the exact same as the Silverstone, minus sleeving, and the 3 year warranty (which I don't think really matters), and lower price.
