I'm looking for a small double stroller for a newborn and toddler can ride together and be small enough to fit in a Subaru Impreza hatchback trunk. Anyone know of one that fits? Also would rather it be an inline/tandem type stroller.

A Maclaren or Combi or Phil&Ted double stroller should be small enough. Might be a bit of a stretch in a hatchback with the rear seats up. You would need to try. Hope the suggestion helps.

Why not a single stroller with a half seat/stand-up for the toddler? That would save you lots of space.

We have the baby jogger mini and it's a great double stroller...so light that you can push 2 toddler boys with one hand while sipping coffee on the other
Fold comfact too, espicially if you just snap off the front wheels.
You purchase it from the states for around $385.
Another option is Britax b-agile, very similar to city mini but newer I guess and cheaper.

Joovy Caboose Sit & Stand style.
We got that when we had our second and were very impressed with it.
Easy to manouver, light weight and fairly compact.
