I've got an asus laptop k53 and recently, its been making a small clicking noise when I use the track pad. It doesn't make the noise when I type, only when I move the mouse on the screen (especially when I start scrolling with 2 fingers). The noise is pretty frequent and annoying and I was wondering if someone knew about this problem or knew how to fix it.
Thanks

I don't think there's really anything you can do to fix it besides change the whole assembly where the trackpad is located.

Just curious what kind of "click" is it. Does it sound like a mouse click, or maybe a keyboard key press? Does it sound mechanical like when a fan clicks because it hit something? Maybe it sounds metal like something out of a HDD? Or perhaps it sounds like the plastic buckling under pressure (like due to the fingers pressing down on it)?
