Concordia Classes - Boosting my GPA
I'm looking for some advice from Concordia students.
In December (Fall semester exams) a family emergncy came up and I had to defer 3 out 4 exams. Thus, in April, I wrote 7 exams. It was beyond difficult. I aced some classes, but absolutely bombed a couple. Now I NEED to bring up my GPA.
Any suggestions on easy, but intersting, classes to help boost my GPA?
Thanks!

Take Bird Courses
Reevaluate if university is for you.
Take less classes
Get a tutor
Study More. Work Less.

I'm sure I want to be in university.
I'll be taking the minimum classes allowed.
I had a tutor during exam period which really helped with a couple of exams. Where I had no tutor, not so well.
I do intend to work less. One day a week.
What are 'bird' classes?

It would help if you told us what program you're in.
Easy classes are made even easier if you already know or actually like the material.

This class is ridiculously easy. A or A+ with about 10 hours of effort for the whole semester (+exam).
There are 9 chapters, 2 papers and a final (2 essays). Each paper covers a chapter of your choice, and then the final exam covers 2 more (also your choice, but not ones you've written papers on). That's right, there are five chapters that you can completely ignore. You also don't *really* need to buy the book. If you parrot what Ornstein says in the videos/notes you'll be just fine. If you want the book though let me know and we can meet up in Sept.

This is my specialty. If you can write well then these classes are a breeze.
Biomedical Ethics*
Intro to Roman History - history/classics
Alexander the Great - history/classics
**Take bio with someone else who you know can write. Then for each essay, do a different topic and on the final, take each others previous essays and memorize them. I got a 98% in this class. Regurgitate the points in the video lectures
Also, I highly suggest Intro to computer usage and document design. The quiz's are kind of tough but with 2 friends w/ laptops you'll be fine (they search pdf and google). The final is an insult to universities everywhere.

The semester is pretty much done, and registration for the next 2 semester begins this week, so... what electives y'all choosing?
So far from experience I can say these were dope:
INTE 290
PHIL 235
RELI 327
RELI 328
FFAR398B
EXCI202
lowest grade i've got from those classes was A-... and I don't study. I haven't studied for anything since the 2nd grade. That should indicate the level of difficulty for these courses.
any suggestions for future electives? i've read how over the years some of the electives have increased their level of difficulty

@Ghost...,
I wanted to know if FFAR398B was really worth it. I heard the course is really interesting but the essays are horribly long.
thx
Btw I suggest FINA 200 which is an online elective class on personal financial goals. Pretty easy, interesting and usefull.
