confused.. ?
A buddy of mine has an issue, which has been unheard of. He graduated this summer with a finance degree, but whatever experience he got while in school, was ALL volunteer work. Either it was being the interviewer for new candidates or office assistant he did not get paid but volunteered to get experience! So, in other words he has never worked for money but for gaining work experience! Now, the thing is should he put all this experience under the heading of WORK EXP. on his resume? What if he is asked for reference and when they find out its volunteer work kinda thing? Is it okay or did he make a huge mistake?

work experience doesn't necessarily mean paid.
he will be fine, if anything it shows initiative.
skills learned are transferrable to a new job whether you got paid for a job or not.
