Confused about motherboard specification
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...041220&lang=en
I am looking to upgrade my graphics card from Geforce G210 to Radeon HD 4890. I've just looked at my motherboard specification and a little confused by what this means.
Expansion slots
Slot type ................ Quantity
PCI Express x16 ..... One (None available)
What does it mean by "None available"? Am I still able to install the new graphics card I'm going to buy?

I think it means that the G210 is occupying the PCI-E x16 slot. I'd be worried about the 300W power supply though....

Will a 4890 even fit in that case? You never know with these brand name comps.

Good point. A reference design 4890 is 9 1/2" long. Might want to measure before you go to all the trouble.
