Connecting to my computer remotely
I occasionally like to use VNC to connect to my computer. Despite having Cable my IP does on occasion change. So, sometimes I will randomly be unable to connect because the IP has changed.
How do I tackle an issue like this?

You can setup a dynamic DNS account with no-ip.com (or something similar) to 'mask' a dynamic IP with an address ... e.g. willy.no-ip.com
One of your computers (or built-in function in some routers) will sync your changing IP address to the server to keep it current.

Yep...use DYNDNS.ORG and download their client and install it. I use it all the time to RDP to my computer from work. I also run a Ventrilo server for Warcraft and I just tell people my registered DNS name instead of some IP address.
