Contact.net has finally released an excellent unlimited internet promotion. 25mgbs down/10mbs. up unlimited for $29.95 per month. Install is 75% off, and free dry loop fees.. Last month they wanted 10 months pre-paid upfront. Not for April. This seems like a smoking hot deal, and I'm going to try them out. My 1st post here, hope everything is properly included .Thx. cheers.

Been with them for over a month on the 10Mbps/1. Speed and stability have been good so far. Only problem I'm having is when I download torrents the rest of the internet dies. Not sure if its because my computer needs formatting or what.

torrenting puts a lot of stress on crappier routers and if you max out ur upload your internet is pretty much useless. try limiting connection speed and number of connections

Joined Contact.net back in Sep 2013 on the 15/1 promo for 1 year. Good ride so far.

I am sure many of us will have the same question, So I am hoping the rep from CONTACT will be able to answer accuratley.

The deal for 15/1 back in Sep 2013 was similar in price, bandwidth, dryloop fee and term. However, the installation was also free and BYOModem. If I want to upgrade to this promo, is it possible to move on the new plan and just play installation and modem fee? Can you elaborate on what would need to be done.

Thanks

I was just wondering, I have a sagecom from Bell but currently using it for FibeTV and right now I have Vmedia. I am considering to switch but can I use the same modem from Bell to get Contact.net internet and also have Bell Fibe TV?

Note that I have zero rate internet with Bell right now so they don't charge me anything for internet and I make sure I don't user their internet.

I switched to contact.net when they offered 15/1 promo with free installation few months ago. I have been using sagemcom fast 2864 from bell. It works flawlessly. When you signup with contact.net, you'll have to signup with your email id. For example abc123@gmail.com. Now use abc123@contact.net and the password you used to register on contact.net as your login ID and Password on your sagemcom fast modem, and it should work fine. I'm now sure if bell fibe tv and contact.net will work together.

Wow this feels like a kick in the teeth! I just signed up for their 15/1 promotion literally last week and now this promotion comes out which is the one I REALLY wanted?!!??!

I called them up, but only got their voice mail and my installation for the 15/1 is tomorrow. If I can't change my order I'm going to be PISSED!!
