The envelope could've been re-glued - you really can't tell. Who knows. I'll contact Nissan next week and hopefully it works out :)

Eventually submitted a report to the Competition Bureau about the Gino's Pizza contest. They haven't posted Rules for about three or four weeks while the contest's been running. Not cool.
Wishing everyone a lucky 2018!

Please post what their response is. I haven't entered the contest but I am interested in how the Competition Bureau handles the situation as I have never had any success with them whenever I have reported a sponsor.

As usual, their response is usually along the lines of "Thanks for the information. Here's what we do at the Competition Bureau. We take this seriously. Etc."

Have they ever replied with info on the steps they have taken with the company you have reported? Or is it just blah blah blah blah and you don't ever know if anything at all was even done.

Nope. No resolution email. I've reported a few cheating contest sponsors, but I've never received an email with a summary of actions taken. I think that's by design, though, and don't begrudge it.

I suspect they'd say something about privacy blah blah blah if you asked for the resolution of the complaint.

So we will never know if it just gets logged somewhere and forgotten, or pursued. I suspect only those with high value prizes or many complaints get any real kind of attention. Maybe the rest get a form letter reminding them of the legalities of running a contest.

I wonder if it keeps track of how many entries you have made as I thought there was a limit of 5

Thanks. Didn't even see that in the rules.

I haven't got mine yet, and I feel like I have to fight for the cards at Shoppers. They never give one to me without me asking and the one time I asked the guy was like "Did you spend $10?!" I spent almost $50 two second before asking for the card, so yeah... ;)

Update: Just received my NPE PIN.

Same with my Shoppers. The lady working on Sunday didn't even know about it. They are poorly run contests.

I have a 100% record on having to ask for a card. On the weekend, I got "you have to spend $10". Yes, I spent $75 dude, look what you just rang in.
