HI! PLEASE HELP!!

I've been using the Sweep program for at least 20 years, with narry a problem. Unfortunately, my old laptop calved, so had to download Sweep to this one. This laptop has WIndows 11. For some reason, I am getting error message, Access Violation at address 00483F9 in module 'Sweep.exe'. Read of address 000000008.

Anyone else have this problem? I don't know of any other program that will help me save my contests to.

Many thank yous....

Try a different version. I wasn't able to install the most recent (which is still very old, ha ha) on my new Windows 11 computer, I got error messages. But I found an older version that worked ok. 1.7 - you can download it via this site https://sweetiessweeps.com/2017/06/free ... orial.html

HTH

I actually find I don't like it as much as I used to when I used it 10+ years ago. I switched to using just a Word document because I like them organized by end date and also by frequency. I don't keep track of number of entries this way, but at least it's organized in a way I like. You can't add your own groups, in the 1.7 version of Sweep! at least, and I found it tedious to enter all the info in the fields when adding a new contest.

Thanks SO very much for the help, Emily. I kept getting a link to a newer one, and it was just awful. I can now continue to enter my contests, hoping like crazy for a win.... :)

Another new ShopBeerGear contest coming up for Ontario only. Starts March 31st.

It looked really promising at first. Prizes consist of 250 yeti coolers worth $450 each. Heck yeah! But looking at the rules, my excitement instantly dwindled.
Aside from purchasing the product to get a PIN, to request NPN PIN you need to mail in a 5000 word essay. That's gotta be a typo right? 5000 words? Surely they meant 500.

If anyone wants to bother posting it, here's the links.

Wow, contest organizers/sponsors certainly have found a way to deter no purchase entries - 5000 word essay is crazy. I thought no purchase entry methods are supposed to be "reasonable".

That backpack is crazy pricing. Got enough coolers and cups these days so I wont be entering this one and getting a PIN by buying the product is no guarantee you will win anything. Too expensive for what they are giving away...

I mean, there's gotta be a law about this or something right? Or all these companies doing contests would abuse this loophole and just be like "...or to receive an entry without purchase, handwrite a 50,000 word essay on why you like gum". lol.

Did anyone else who won the Shop Beer Gear Superbowl upgrade contest for the TV, fridge, chair and surround sound system ever hear back regarding the missing speaker? If no one else heard back, I'll assume the sponsor no longer wishes to discuss it and since they had to shell out extra money for the AVR, tney feel you got more than what they offered. Luckily, I was at the casino today abd won enough for that speaker but you should not need to spend an extra $400 to complete something the sponsor or fulfillment company should have known needed to be bought to complete the prize...
