EDIT: Apparently they have fixed it but I am getting a "404 Page not found" error now.

Posting this here for visibility from this contest: 2018-03-31-dr-oetker-find-giuseppe-cont ... #p28897566

The ballots for the Dodge Grand Caravan prize went up by over 20,000,000 entries overnight Saturday morning, it's been close to the number of entries for the $10,000 cash prize since the contest started October 1. I contacted the contest for an explanation and got this:

If they mean more people are allocating to the Van now that the Cash prize is over, it still doesn't explain why more entries were entered in 1 day than the entirety of the contest since October 1.
It went up 20m? Really? I haven’t been paying attention to the totals, just my own.

How do you move your ballots in the dr.oetker contest? I didn't win the $10,000. I'd happily move those ballots around.

pretty sure you can't move the past ballots....just means that those that were entering for the $10,000 are now using the entries they earn on the van instead.

I see.

I thought the 20 million ballots came from people moving their ballots from $10,000 draw, now that it was over.

Has there been any news on the Fido Flip game winners? Draw was supposed to be end of January with lots of prizes but there has been no news of it...I just want to know that at least SOMEBODY won something...

I think the 20 million was an error possibly? If you could move them over then it wouldn't have made sense for anybody to put ballots into anything but the $10,000 since that was the first one to be drawn.

Does anyone recall a recent contest with a lululemon prize? I just got a shipping notice, which I investigated and is legit. I can’t think of what it might be besides a contest win, but I have no idea which one.

Hm, it may possibly be this one, but would they fed ex me a NPE game piece? 2018-01-28-lululemon-sweatlife-adventur ... c-2158359/

Has anyone run into trouble, or got disqualified, for entering 2 or more people into a contest from one IP? That’s what I usually do, just enter myself and my girlfriend on the same computer. I wonder if I’ve been getting secretly disqualified for that?.. Thinking Face

Lol, so I guess that’s what is. Expensive to fedex a contest piece.

If I was a sponsor, I’d look closely at IP’s. And some contests say one per household.

I think it’s doubtful you’d ever know though if you got dq’d for that, they’d just eliminate you without saying and move on.

It’s a huge envelope, too, for such a tiny game piece. Total overkill.

Yes, I’m always careful about the same household ones. Same IP though, I don’t know; I would assume a lot of people enter from the same computer.

I suppose if it was a library computer or something. I know no one else in my family is interested in spending time entering, and I don’t double up and use extra accounts of my friends and family. Sponsors know this happens, and I suspect more than we think are looking.

You may be right. I’ll try to be more careful :)
